James Mwai has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. James started their career as an IT Assistant at the Green Belt Movement in 2004 and stayed there until 2008. James then joined Kenya Data Networks as an Intern-Application Developer and later transitioned into the role of an Application Developer until 2010. After that, they worked as a Systems Engineer at Swift Global from 2010 to 2012.

In 2014, James joined Ihub Consulting as a Software Engineer and worked there until 2017. During this time, they co-founded Sky.Garden, where they held the position of Co-Founder and CTO. Sky.Garden is a SaaS product distribution platform that enables SMEs to sell products on digital channels.

In 2016, James also became a Google Developer Expert (Cloud) at Google Developers, where they shared their expertise and knowledge in conferences and mentoring developers and startups.

In 2019, they took up a role as a Trainer (Backend Development) at AkiraChix. James Mwai's work experience demonstrates a strong background in software development, engineering, and expertise in Google technologies.
