Andy Thomson

Andy Thomson is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the media and finance sectors. Currently serving as the Executive Director of Business Operations for Sky News Group since January 2010, Andy leads the implementation of business model strategies and oversees commercial vision and revenue generation initiatives across various platforms. Previous roles include Director of Finance for multiple divisions at Sky, Head of Finance, and positions as Finance Director and Financial Controller. In addition to current responsibilities, Andy holds non-executive director roles at AETN International and At The Races and served as Finance Representative to the Board for Sky News Arabia. With a strong foundation in finance from prior positions at Fox International Channels Asia, STAR Group, The Walt Disney Company, and Kingston Smith, Andy holds an MMATH in Mathematics from the University of Manchester.
