David Procter is a Principal Hardware Engineer currently designing the next generation of Sky boxes at Sky CP Ltd since 2012. They have a robust background in engineering, having held principal engineer positions at Renesas Technology Europe and Renesas Electronics Europe from 2003 to 2012, and at Mitsubishi Electric UK Ltd from 1997 to 2003. David began their career as a Student Engineer at Ferguson Limited while pursuing a Thin Sandwich degree and later worked as a Senior Engineer at Sony Manufacturing, focusing on set-top box design and development. They earned a BEng in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from City, University of London in 1991.
