Justin Bates

Justin Bates is a seasoned Group Creative Director with extensive experience at Sky since May 2003, where leadership in advertising and branding has driven multi-channel communication success across digital and broadcast media. As Head of Brand Studio, Justin champions creative excellence for Sky UK, Europe, and US partnerships with Xfinity (Comcast). Previous roles included Creative Director for both the Brand Studio & VFX and VFX teams, where Justin established a high-end Motion Design Studio and led multidisciplinary projects for brand campaigns and sports channels. In addition to freelance work as a 3D Artist and Visual Effects Supervisor at Justin Bates Visual Effects since 1999, Justin serves as a Demo Artist for Maxon Computer, Inc., presenting at major industry events. Early career experience includes playing as a Professional Cricketer for Sussex County Cricket Club, combining athletic prowess with creative expertise. Education was completed at Hurstpierpoint College.
