Michael McMillan

Michael McMillan has over 20 years of experience in various leadership roles related to user experience (UX), product design, and creative direction. Most recently, they served as a Senior Creative Director, UX/UI at West Cary Group, where they played a crucial role in shaping and leading the UX/UI design strategy for digital platforms. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Director of User Experience & Product Design at Ansira, where they established global UX processes, set annual budgets, and presented creative work to clients. Michael also had leadership positions at Sincro, CDK Global, Trend Source Inc., eLocal.com, and Applebrook Golf Club, showcasing their expertise in design, management, and strategy.

Michael McMillan earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Randolph-Macon College, where they attended from 1991 to 1995. In addition to their college education, they have obtained several certifications. In December 2020, they completed the "Confronting Bias: Thriving Across Our Differences" certification through LinkedIn, as well as the "How to Engage Meaningfully in Allyship and Anti-Racism" certification. Additionally, in December 2019, they obtained the "UX Research for Agile Teams" certification, also from LinkedIn.
