Karl Holmes

In February 2020, Karl became COO Europe, a new role created to coordinate and lead integrated operational and commercial activity across Sky’s country businesses. Previously, Karl was CFO for Sky UK & Ireland. Karl joined Sky from 21st Century Fox in 2013 after Sky purchased Sky Deutschland and Sky Italia from Fox, and led the integration of Sky across Europe. During his time at 21st Century Fox, Karl led M&A and business development for businesses for Europe and Asia, serving on the boards of several major media ventures in India, South East Asia and Russia.
