Alonso Aguayo

Alonso Aguayo is a highly experienced aviation professional currently serving as a First Officer on the B747-400 with Skylease Cargo since February 2023. Prior to this role, Alonso held multiple First Officer positions with Avianca from May 2010 to May 2020, flying the A330, A320, and E190 aircraft. Alonso's educational background includes an FAA ATP type rating for the B747-400 from Alliance Aviation, along with additional studies in risk management and auditing at Escuela Superior de Guerra Aérea ESFAP. Alonso has also undertaken leadership courses at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and holds a degree in Aeronautical Administration from ITAérea Aeronautical Business School. Further foundational training includes a Commercial Pilot degree from Flight Center.
