John Edwards

John Edwards is a seasoned aircraft professional with over 30 years of experience. John began their career at McDonnell Douglas Aircraft Company as a Liaison Engineer/Team Leader. Later, they joined United Airlines as an Aircraft Engineer/Team Leader. John then worked at US Airways as an A320 Engineering Fleet Manager. After that, they joined GATX as a Director-Operations and then worked at Pegasus Aviation Finance Company as a Director, Leased Aircraft Management. John also worked as an Independent Contractor at AWAS providing technical/contractual support for aircraft acquisitions and asset management. John then moved to RPK Capital Management Group as SVP/Head of Technical. John then worked at Willis Lease Finance Corporation as Vice President, Product Support and later as Vice President Asset Management & CTO-Aircraft. Currently, they are working at SKY Leasing as a Senior Vice President & Head of Technical, where they oversee aircraft leasing and lease management services worldwide.

John Edwards attended California State University, Fullerton from 1984 to 1989 where they obtained a BSE degree in Mechanical Engineering. In 2013, they obtained a certification in Appraisal from the International Society of Transport Aircraft Trading (ISTAT).
