Scott Lee

Scott Lee has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Currently, they serve as the Director of Product Strategy at Sky Mavis, where they are responsible for defining the product strategy for the publishing platform and overseeing investments and partnerships with games. Prior to this, they worked as an Advisor at Whatnot, guiding the creation of a new business vertical focused on NFTs. Scott collaborated with engineering and partnerships teams, providing input on the technical design and strategy of the NFT marketplace.

Before joining Whatnot, Scott was a Venture Associate at Jump Capital, where they invested in crypto companies and specialized in blockchain gaming and DAO investments. Scott conducted research, sourced deals, and engaged with founders in the industry. Scott also had a brief stint as a Summer Associate at Bain & Company.

Scott's previous experience includes working at Apple in multiple roles. As a Software Engineer/Product, they played a crucial role in driving an internal product's development from a data science perspective. Scott also re-architected the platform flow and mentored summer interns. In other roles at Apple, they worked on applied machine learning, data manipulation and analysis, and infrastructure development.

During their early career, Scott was an Applied Machine Learning Intern at Apple, a Network Engineer Assistant at UC Berkeley IST, and a Network Systems Software Intern at The Aerospace Corporation. From 2019 to 2022, Scott pursued further education at Northwestern University, earning a Juris Doctor degree from the Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Kellogg School of Management.
