Rob Crook

Rob Crook is an experienced media professional with a comprehensive background in broadcast operations and management. Currently serving as the Playout Team Manager at Sky since July 2013, Rob plays a key role in overseeing the daily operations of the Playout facility, ensuring the accurate delivery of various Sky channels, including Sky News and Sky Sports. Prior to this position, Rob was a Service Delivery Manager at Red Bee Media, where responsibilities included meeting SLAs for ITV's services, and previously held roles at Turner Broadcasting as a Transmission Supervisor, focusing on operational and technical support. Rob's career began at Ascent Media Group as a Transmission Operator/Supervisor and included early experience as a Camera Assistant and Autocue Operator at Cine Wessex. Educationally, Rob holds a BTEC Higher National Diploma in Media Production and Business from Farnborough College of Technology.
