Cammie Backus has a diverse work experience. Cammie started their career as an Administrative/Marketing Assistant at the National Club Association in December 1998 and worked there until April 2000. Cammie then joined Reading Is Fundamental and held multiple roles including Administrative Assistant, Program Associate, Assistant to the President, Senior Director of Executive Office Operations, and finally Vice President of Operations, which they continue to hold.
Cammie Backus earned a Master of Library Science (MLS) degree from the University of Maryland, where they studied Library Science for three years, from 2006 to 2009.
