Erin Bailey

Director Programs And Content at Reading Is Fundamental

Erin Bailey has a diverse work experience in the education field. Erin started their career as a Reading Instructor at Onward Readers in 2013. From 2012 to 2014, they worked as a Primary School Teacher at San Miguel Catholic School. In 2014, Erin became an Early Childhood Teacher at Victoria (Belcher) International Nursery and Kindergarten.

In 2016, Erin joined The Inspired Teaching Demonstration School, where they held various roles. Erin started as a First Grade Teacher and transitioned to an Intervention and Instructional Specialist from 2018 to 2020. Finally, they became a Literacy and English Learner Specialist in 2020, a position they held until 2021.

Currently, Erin is the Director Programs and Content at Reading Is Fundamental, a role they have been serving in since August 2021.

Erin Bailey holds a Doctor of Education - EdD degree in Curriculum and Instruction, which was obtained from The George Washington University starting in 2016. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Reading Instruction with a Reading Specialist Credential from Loyola Marymount University from 2012 to 2014. Before their master's degree, Erin completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Liberal Studies with an Education Specialist Moderate/Severe Credential from the University of San Diego, starting in 2008 and graduating in 2012. Additionally, Erin has obtained two additional certifications, namely "How to Use LinkedIn Learning" from LinkedIn in February 2023 and a "Reading Specialist" certification from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing in July 2015.
