Christian Wegmann

Christian Wegmann has a strong background in risk management and technology. Christian is currently working as the Head of IT at SkyCell AG since July 2019. Prior to this, they had extensive experience at Swiss Re, where they held various roles including Risk Governance & Steering / Head of Technology and Organisation from April 2016 to June 2019, and Senior Risk Analyst from February 2014 to March 2016. Christian also worked as a Data Scientist at Data Science Retreat from September 2018 to December 2018. Christian started their career at Deloitte as an Assistant Manager in Financial Risk Management from July 2012 to February 2014. Additionally, Christian took a one-year break from work to travel the world from June 2011 to June 2012. Christian began their professional journey at Solution Providers as a Senior Consultant from December 2007 to May 2011.

Christian Wegmann obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Mathematics from the Université de Fribourg - Universität Freiburg, where they studied from 2003 to 2007. In August 2016, they also obtained a CFA certification from the CFA Institute.
