Eric Weinhoffer

Eric Weinhoffer is an experienced hardware development manager currently leading prototyping efforts at Skydio since January 2021. Prior to this role, Eric served as a Senior Hardware Development Specialist and Lab Manager at Astranis, where management of engineering facilities and spacecraft production was key. Earlier experience includes positions as a Prototype Engineer at Bolt, a Prototype Developer at Advanced Prototype Engineering, and a Mechanical Engineer at Saildrone Inc., among others. Eric's foundational skills in mechanical engineering were developed through a comprehensive education at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering was attained.
