Borja Fortuny López has a strong background in hardware development and electronic systems. Borja is currently working at Skydweller Aero as a Sr. Hardware Development Lead, a role they have held since April 2023. Prior to this position, they worked as a Hardware Development Engineer at the same company from February 2020 to May 2023.
Before joining Skydweller Aero, Borja worked as a Field Applications Engineer at ON Semiconductor from December 2018 to February 2020.
Borja gained valuable experience in electronic systems development during their time at CESA - COMPAÑIA ESPAÑOLA DE SISTEMAS AERONÁUTICOS. From June 2015 to November 2018, they held the position of Electronic Systems Development Engineer. Borja'sresponsibilities included conceptual design, schematic design, simulation, mechanical enclosure and heat treatment design, prototyping, testing, and prequalification.
Borja initially started their career at CESA as an Electronics Department Intern from May 2014 to April 2015. During this internship, they focused on designing and simulating electronic circuits, as well as designing PCBs.
Borja Fortuny López holds a MSc in Autonomous Vehicle Dynamics and Control from Cranfield University, which they obtained in 2013. Prior to that, they completed a degree in Industrial Electronics and Control Systems Engineering at Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) from 2010 to 2012. Borja's education history also includes a degree in Technical Industrial Engineering in Electronic Engineering from UPV, which they earned from 2007 to 2010. Borja'sfield of study throughout their education has primarily been focused on control systems, embedded systems, and unmanned aerial vehicles.
