Guidance, Navigation and Control Engineer at Skydweller

Guillaume Gerber has a diverse work experience in the aerospace industry, primarily focused on flight control and guidance systems.

From February 2021 to April 2022, they worked as a Research Assistant at ISAE-SUPAERO, where they contributed to the FloWingNES project, specifically the development of a slave motor for simulating a nonlinear flap wing in wind tunnels.

From January to April 2022, Guillaume worked as a MATLAB Ambassador at MathWorks, organizing seminars to highlight the capabilities of MathWorks software and modifying the flight control system of a drone for a competition.

From April to September 2022, they joined Skydweller Aero as a Guidance, Navigation, and Control Engineer, where they worked on developing flight control laws for the Flight Control System using MATLAB/Simulink and SCADE.

From September 2022 to July 2023, at Dassault Aviation, Guillaume served as a Flight Control Engineer for the Falcon 10X program, responsible for developing flight control system specifications, defining flight control laws, and analyzing aircraft handling qualities. Guillaume worked closely with the Aerostructures Team to develop structural control protections against turbulence and gusts.

Starting in July 2023, Guillaume is set to join Skydweller Aero once again as a Guidance, Navigation, and Control Engineer.

Guillaume Gerber completed their BSc in Aerospace Engineering at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid from 2016 to 2020. Guillaume then pursued an MSc in Aerospace Engineering at ISAE-SUPAERO from 2020 to 2022. In addition to their degrees, they obtained the First Certificate in English from the University of Cambridge in June 2013 and achieved a TOEFL iBT score of 93 out of 120 from ETS in March 2020.
