Xavier Roy has a diverse work experience spanning from 2008 to 2020. Xavier began their career as a Commis-vendeur at Réno-Dépôt from April 2008 to September 2012. Xavier then had a student internship at Pratt & Whitney Canada from January 2013 to August 2013, where they implemented a management tool and conducted statistical analysis. Xavier also worked as a Croupier at Casino de Montréal during the summers of 2014 and 2015.
In 2017, Xavier joined Liebherr Aerospace and Transportation as an Intern Veille technologique for six months. Xavier then became a Model Specialist at Groupe SII from November 2017 to August 2019, where they supported Airbus simulation team and acquired a deep knowledge of monitoring and control systems. Additionally, they worked as a Model Developer at Groupe SII from August 2019 onwards, developing a Matlab-Simulink algorithm for the navigation system of aircraft.
Most recently, in May 2020, Xavier started working as a General Systems Modeling & Analysis Engineer at Skydweller Aero.
Xavier Roy completed their Engineer's Degree in Mechanical Engineering at Polytechnique Montréal from 2010 to 2015. Following that, they pursued a Master's Degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical/Space Engineering at ISAE-SUPAERO from 2015 to 2017.
