Nikita Laptev

Nikita Laptev has a diverse work experience starting in 2015 as an Information Technology Analyst at isands, where they integrated complex SaaS systems for big companies and built tech documentation. In 2017, they joined Movavi as a Product Analyst, where they wireframed new features for the Video Converter team. Later, they became a Product Manager and successfully launched PDFChef, a PDF editor for multiple platforms. From 2019 to 2023, they served as a Senior Product Manager at Movavi, leading teams to improve Movavi Clips, a mobile video editor with a million monthly active users. Currently, they work at Skyeng as a Product Lead, overseeing the launch of a language learning app and the management of a multi-disciplinary team.

Nikita Laptev pursued their education at Novosibirsk State University of Economics and Management (NSUEM). Nikita obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information Security in the years 2011-2015. Subsequently, from 2015-2017, they pursued a Master's degree in Business Engineering at the same institution. Ultimately, from 2017-2021, Nikita Laptev continued their studies at NSUEM as a PhD student, specializing in Information Technology.
