Rich Bishop

Rich Bishop's work experience includes various roles in different organizations. Rich currently serves as the Industry Committee Secretary at the Worshipful Company of Information Technologists and is a Freeman of the company. Rich is also a Council Member at BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT and holds the position of Chief Technology Officer at Skyfarer® LTD. Additionally, they have taken on leadership roles in Cawston Parish Council, where they have served as Chair, Vice Chair, and Parish Councillor. Rich has also worked as a Company Director, Software Developer, and Project Manager at Orchis Ltd and has been a member of several councils at the CBI (Confederation of British Industry). Rich has served as an Ambassador at Be the Business and is a Freeman of The City of London. Furthermore, they are a Fellow of The RSA (Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce) and has held the role of Director at Skizzar.

Rich Bishop's education history is as follows:

In 1998, they started their secondary education at Etone Community School & Technology College in Nuneaton, where they pursued their GCSEs.

From 2003 to 2005, Rich attended King Edward VI Sixth Form in Nuneaton, where they studied IT, Business, Maths, and Physics, earning their A-Levels.

In 2005, Rich began their higher education journey at Staffordshire University. Rich pursued a Bachelor of Science degree (BSc Hons) in Mobile Computing and Internet Technology, which they completed in 2008.

In 2020, Rich enrolled in the Small Business Leadership Programme at Aston Business School.

Additionally, Rich has obtained various certifications throughout their career. In 2017, they became a Xero Certified Partner and a member of the Chartered Institute for IT (BCS). In 2019, they became a Fellow of the Institute of Enterprise and Entrepreneurs (FIOEE). In 2020, they were recognized as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA). Finally, in 2021, Rich became a Member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (MIET) and a Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Information Technologists.
