Nicole Friesen

Nicole Friesen (Boisvert) has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Nicole began their career as a Production Analyst at Canada Bread Company, Ltd. in 1998 and worked there until 2005. Following that, they worked as a Marketing Assistant at Pepsi Bottling Group from 2006 to 2008. At Community Natural Foods, they held a senior leadership position on the marketing team from 2008 to 2018, where they played a key role in strategic marketing planning, social media strategy, and managing marketing events. In 2018, Nicole joined SkyFire Energy Inc as a Marketing and Culture Manager, and later became the Director of People & Culture, leading the HR initiatives, company culture, and chairing an Indigenous committee. In 2021, they founded Nicole Boisvert Coaching and Consulting as a Certified Professional Coach.

Nicole Friesen (Boisvert) has a diverse education history. Nicole obtained a degree in Food and Nutrition Management from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) from 1994 to 1996. Prior to that, they studied Foods, Nutrition, and Wellness Studies at the University of Saskatchewan from 1991 to 1993. Nicole also pursued further education in the field of holistic nutrition, earning a certification as a Holistic Nutrition Consultant from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition in 2010-2011. Nicole then expanded their expertise by becoming a Certified Professional Co-active Coach through the Coach Training Institute in 2015-2016.

In addition to their formal education, Nicole has also obtained several certifications. Nicole completed the Indigenous Canada program offered by the University of Alberta in 2022. In 2019, they obtained the Google Analytics Certification Individual Qualifying from Google. In 2018, they completed the Branding Foundations certification from LinkedIn. Nicole is also an Associate Certified Coach accredited by the International Coaching Federation since 2017. Nicole holds certifications as a Certified Emergenetics Associate, a Certified Holistic Nutrition Consultant, and a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach. Furthermore, Nicole has achieved the Competent Communicator designation from Toastmasters International.
