Zach Futujma

Zach Futujma is a skilled UAV pilot and technician currently employed at Skyfront since April 2023, working with advanced hybrid gas-electric multicopter drones. Prior experience includes serving as a drone systems operator at American Robotics from November 2021 to January 2023, focusing on BVLOS drone operations, and as a remote pilot and repairman for UPS from January 2021 to November 2021, specializing in Part 135 drone operations. Zach also briefly worked as a visual observer for drone operations at SkySkopes during September 2020 to October 2020, conducting transmission tower inspections, and assisted as a park ranger at Sacramento County Regional Parks in early 2017. Zach holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Sciences from the University of California, Davis, obtained from 2013 to 2015, and attended Ventura College from 2011 to 2013.
