As Chief Operations Officer, Third-Party Administration at SKYGEN, Mr. Koltz is responsible for advancing operational excellence, the satisfaction of customers, providers and members, and the bottom line revenue growth of SKYGEN’s administrative business lines. With Mr. Koltz’s broad experience in information technology, claims administration, and general management roles, his leadership is key to achieving SKYGEN’s commitment to transforming the way dental, vision and Medicaid benefits are delivered for increased levels of efficiency at reduced costs for all Americans.

Mr. Koltz has a proven track record of success with the ability to transform organizational operations in the rapidly changing healthcare environment. Upon first joining SKYGEN, he served as Vice President of Administration with responsibility for the government dental, commercial dental, vision, and government medical TPA business lines. He is a critical thinker delivering operational excellence, developing market strategy, extending sales/distribution channels, and implementing business initiatives focused on cost containment, profitability improvement and customer satisfaction. He is highly successful in assessing challenges quickly, delivering on commitments, and developing strategic plans to meet quality measures while improving loss ratios and increasing revenues.

Prior to joining SKYGEN, Mr. Koltz served as Director, Medical Products at Humana and led the HumanaOne health exchange business. Before that, he held positions of increasing responsibility at Assurant Health where he served as Vice President, Customer and Agent Service Experience as well as Director IT.

Mr. Koltz earned his BBA at the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater.
