James Waldron Meng Ceng Miet

Director Of Product Safety at Skyjack Inc.

James Waldron has a diverse work experience spanning various positions and roles. James has served as the Director of Product Safety and Product Safety Engineering Manager at Skyjack Inc. since 2019. Prior to that, they were the IPAF Manufacturer's Technical Committee Chairperson at the International Powered Access Federation.

James also worked as the Head of Engineering at GDC Middle East, where they led the development and delivery of an Engineering Department, focusing on positioning the company as a key engineering capability in line with the KSA 2030 vision. James also played a significant role in developing a Part-M compliant organization and foundations for a Part-21 organization.

Before joining GDC Middle East, James had a long tenure at BAE Systems, where they held various positions such as Programme Engineering Manager, Engineering Manager - Technical Information, Integration Manager & Contract Lead, Mission Systems Team Leader, Senior Systems Engineer, Sales Engineer, Systems Engineer, Systems/Process Engineer, and Graduate Equipment Engineer.

In addition to BAE Systems, James also had early work experience as an Undergraduate Systems Engineer, undertaking industrial placements at BAE Systems in different projects.

James Waldron obtained their Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering from Loughborough University in 2004. James also completed their A Levels in Science and Maths at Abingdon School between 1994 and 1999. Additionally, they pursued Safety Management System courses at Baines Simmons in 2013 and 2014.
