Noal Ronken has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Noal started their career in 1999 as an Admissions Counselor at the University of Minnesota, Morris, where they managed undergraduate recruiting and delivered presentations on admissions and financial aid.
In 2001, Noal joined REI as a Department Specialist, specializing in the rock climbing department and supervising the indoor climbing pinnacle. Noal excelled in retail sales and prioritized safety and customer service.
From 2004 to 2005, Noal worked as a Client Representative at Marsh & McClennan, one of the world's largest risk management firms. Noal managed client accounts and property risk management, ensuring the completion of client proposals.
Noal then joined Vertical Endeavors in 2005 as a Facility Manager for one of the nation's highest-traffic indoor rock-climbing facilities. Noal managed a cross-functional team, handled HR functions, and was responsible for training and motivating employees.
In 2011, Noal became the Retail Store Manager at LaCrosse Footwear Incorporated's flagship store. Noal was responsible for store operations, overseeing a strong P&L position, and ensuring a successful customer experience. Noal was later promoted to the role of Regional Retail Manager, providing P&L oversight for four stores and employing retail channel standard processes and procedures.
From 2014 to 2015, Noal worked at SakeOne as the Tasting Room and DTC Manager. Noal was in charge of sales and marketing for the Direct-to-Consumer Channel and Tasting Room, managing a club program and serving as the webmaster for the company.
Noal joined In Motion Entertainment in 2015 as a Store Manager, where they redesigned the store layout and employee training to enhance customer engagement and achieve sales goals.
From 2016 to 2018, Noal held various roles at Vertical Endeavors, including Training and Business Development Manager and Chief Operations Officer. As the Training and Business Development Manager, they developed a company-wide employee training program, resulting in increased employee knowledge and decreased training time and cost. As the Chief Operations Officer, they played a senior role in the acquisition and development of new locations and oversaw customer service, sales, marketing, and maintenance teams.
Most recently, Noal worked at Skykit as a Customer Success Manager and was later promoted to Director of Customer Success. Noal was responsible for over 300 accounts and played a key role in new enterprise account acquisitions. Noal is currently serving as a Senior Enterprise Customer Success Manager at Skykit.
Noal Ronken began their education history at the University of Minnesota-Morris, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from 1995 to 1999. Noal then continued their education at Metro State University, completing a Master of Arts degree in Business Administration (MBA) from 2001 to 2005.
In 2020, Noal attended iPEC Coaching for a year, focusing on Life and Leadership Coaching. Additionally, they obtained several certifications, including "Agile Crash Course: Agile Project Management" and "Agile Scrum Course - Scrum Fundamentals" from Udemy in December 2019. In February 2020, Noal obtained the "Certified Customer Success Manager (CCSM) Level 1" certification from SuccessHACKER.
