Sarah Young

Sarah Young has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles.

Sarah is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Skykraft since February 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Principal Consultant - CFO Advisory & Joint Operations at SYPAQ Systems from October 2020 to February 2023.

In 2020, Sarah worked as a Consultant - COVID-19 Financial Support at I.A.M Holdings from February to October. Before that, they served as the Chief Financial Officer - Consultant at archTIS from July to November 2019.

Sarah took a personal break from work between August 2014 and July 2019 to fulfill their role as a wife and mother after marrying a member of the Defence Force. However, this sabbatical was cut short when their husband resigned from the ADF.

Prior to their personal break, Sarah held the position of Corporate Development Manager at Crown Castle Australia from July 2011 to August 2014. Here, they focused on alternative investments and implemented various strategies that generated additional income.

In 2009, they traveled internationally and volunteered in Kenya before joining Allco Finance Group in 2006. At Allco Finance Group, they held multiple roles, including CEO - Japan / Fund Manager Rubicon Japan Trust, Director - Acquisitions (Evolution/Lehman Brothers Mandate), and Finance Director - Evolution.

Sarah also has experience working at CFSGAM (Colonial First State Global Asset Management) as an Executive Manager - New Funds and at Colonial First State as a Senior Finance Manager - Funds. In these roles, they played a crucial role in fund innovation and financial services.

Sarah Young's education history includes several programs and degrees. Sarah completed the CPA Australia Program from 1999 to 2003, focusing on the CPA Program. In 2001 to 2002, they pursued a Graduate Diploma in Company Secretarial Practice at the Governance Institute of Australia. From 1999 to 2002, Sarah obtained a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment at Kaplan Professional. Prior to that, they attended UNSW from 1994 to 1998, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, and Maths. Sarah'ssecondary education was at Loreto Kirribilli, where they completed their H.S.C in 1993.
