Giuseppe Francesco Rigano

Giuseppe Francesco Rigano has a diverse range of work experience in the technology industry. Giuseppe Francesco began their career at Siemens Corporate Research in 2016, where they completed a year-long internship focused on developing new automation techniques for the industries 4.0. During this time, they built a runtime module for Raspberry PI to process commands for mobile robotic arms, conveyors, and a laser cutter machine.

In 2017, Rigano joined the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia's Advanced Robotic Department as a Software Engineer. Giuseppe Francesco was involved in multiple European projects, including WALKMAN, CENTAURO, and COGIMON. As part of their role, they were responsible for architecting and developing the real-time robotic control framework XBotCore using C++. Giuseppe Francesco also worked on developing web GUIs using Angular and Three.js.

In 2019, Rigano became an External Collaborator Software Engineer at the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia. Giuseppe Francesco worked remotely from Catania, focusing on the development of a web application for robot monitoring and control.

Most recently, Rigano joined Skylabs in 2018. Giuseppe Francesco started as a Software Engineer, where they worked until 2019 before being promoted to Salesforce Commerce Cloud Tech lead.
