Maxwell Griffin

Maxwell Griffin has a diverse work experience that spans several industries. Maxwell started their career as an Assistant Manager and Sales Representative at Vector Marketing in 2012, where they were later promoted to a managerial position. In 2016, they worked as a Project Manager at Bowers Group of Delaware. Following this, they served as a Customer Success Representative at Ceres Imaging for a brief period in 2019.

Maxwell then transitioned into the sales field, starting as a Sales Development Representative at BlackBird in August 2019, before being promoted to an Account Executive role in November 2019. During their time at BlackBird, they were responsible for the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals. In 2020, BlackBird was acquired by Surf Air.

From July 2020 to April 2022, Maxwell worked as a Senior Account Executive at 1build (YC W20), where they were the second sales hire. Maxwell managed end-to-end pipeline operations and also played a role in hiring and training Sales Development Representatives.

In 2022, Maxwell joined Watson Living as the Director of Sales and Business Development, a position they held until November of the same year. At Watson Living, they were responsible for driving sales and expanding business opportunities.

Most recently, Maxwell has been working at Plainview Aviation as a Sales Advisor since December 2021. Currently, they are employed as part of the New Business team at Skylight Technologies, a position they started in January 2023.

Maxwell Griffin holds a Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from Kansas State University. Maxwell also earned a Design Certificate in Applied Horticulture/Horticulture Operations, General and another Design Certificate in Designing for Climate Change from Oregon State University. In 2010, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Economics at the University of Miami. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Emergency Medical Technology/Technician (EMT Paramedic) from Twin Valley EMT in 2016. Maxwell Griffin is also certified by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT).
