Crystal James

Crystal James has over 20 years of work experience in the mortgage and financial services industry. Crystal began their career in 1995 as the Ohio Area Manager for Mortgage Portfolio Services, where they developed new accounts throughout the state and recruited, hired, and trained account executives. In 1998, they became the Branch Manager for American Home Loans, where they developed and implemented procedures for increased work flow and production. From 2001 to 2010, Crystal worked as the Operations Manager for USAHomeowners, Inc. and then as the Branch Manager for Top Flite Financial Services. In 2012, they held the position of Senior Underwriter for IBERIABANK, Senior Loan Processor for First Continental Mortgage, and VP Processing for Aspire Financial, Inc. In 2015, Crystal began working for Skyline Home Loans as Corporate Collateral Underwriting Manager NMLS# 450202 CHUMS HX70, and they are currently building a new collateral department for the organization. Since 2011, Crystal has been employed at CIVIC Financial Services in various roles, including Manager, Sr. Product, Manager, Vendor Management, Program Manager, People and Culture, and Policy and Procedures Program Manager.

Crystal James obtained their Certification in Real Estate from Hondros College in 1989-1990. In 2009, they obtained their Texas Registered Builder certification from the Texas Residential Construction Commission. In 2015, they obtained their DE Underwriter certification from FHA. Crystal also holds a SAR certification from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, as well as a Texas - SML Mortgage Banker Residential Mortgage Loan Originator License from the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System & Registry.
