Michael Holland has a strong background in the banking industry with over 20 years of experience. Michael started their career at Wachovia Bank, where they held the position of Assistant Vice President and Personal Banker. Michael was recognized as Manager of the Year in 1995 and 1996 and led branches to achieve high team performance. In 1998, they joined Peoples Bank as Vice President and Branch Manager, where they successfully opened a new branch, hired staff, and developed a strong client base. In 1999, they moved to First Horizon Bank as a Commercial Relationship Manager and C&I Portfolio Servicing Officer, where they oversaw new business development and relationship management with key accounts. Michael was also responsible for managing a segment of the bank's loan portfolio and providing leadership to junior lenders. Most recently, in 2018, Michael joined Skyline National Bank as the Catawba Valley Area Executive and Senior Vice President. In this role, they opened and led a loan production office for the bank's expansion into a new region, contributing to the establishment of four new full-service offices. Michael'sprimary responsibilities include developing business relationships, managing the loan portfolio, and growing market share in Hickory.
Michael Holland attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte from 1981 to 1985, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Economics.
