Mohammad Furqan Ahmad

Mohammad Furqan Ahmad has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and research. Mohammad Furqan is currently working as a System Test Engineer at Skylo Technologies since March 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Rice University from August 2018 to March 2023, where they focused on analyzing mobile angularly dispersive terahertz links and utilizing novel devices such as metasurfaces and leaky-wave antennas. Before that, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Lahore University of Management Sciences from July 2017 to July 2018, where their research involved transceiver design for asynchronous uplink non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) and the design of a channel emulator for air-air and air-ground communications. Mohammad Furqan started their professional career as an Intern at Mari Petroleum Company Limited in July 2016.

Mohammad Furqan Ahmad attended Rice University from 2018 to 2022, where they pursued a Master of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Prior to that, they studied at Lahore University of Management Sciences from 2013 to 2017, completing their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
