Bo Hjalmarsson has over 40 years of work experience, beginning in 1977 as an IT Consultant at Capgemini. In 1980, they began working at Ericsson in various positions in sales and project management, establishing Ericsson Mobile phone systems second generation in several markets. In 1986, they took on the role of Sales Executive UK & Ireland at Ericsson. In 1989, they were Head of Sales New Operators, responsible for new operators in the UK. In 1992, they were General Manager, Business operations Europe and North America, building organization and growing mobile systems sales more than 10 times over 6 years. In 1999, they were Managing Director & Vice President, with profit & loss responsibility for British Telecom and Deutsche Telecom UK. In 2005, they were Head of Sales Key Deals, developing new structures and methods and establishing multifunctional “Tiger teams”. Bo was also Head of Business Development, with business development, competitor analysis and business strategy to win new market share. In 2014, they were Head of Business management and Sales for Western and Central Europe, with financial governance and strategic business development and sales responsibility for Networks (multi billion turn over). Since 2017, they have been Area Sales Director at Skyresponse AB.
Bo Hjalmarsson obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Industrial Economics from Tekniska högskolan vid Linköpings universitet between 1973 and 1977.
