Kanishque Kumar is a propulsion engineer at Skyroot Aerospace since September 2022. Previously, Kanishque worked as a project assistant at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) from July 2021 to June 2022, focusing on hydrogen enrichment for partially premixed swirl stabilized flames. A summer internship at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur in June 2021 involved studying wake and shock structures for improved fuel-air mixing in scramjet combustion chambers. Kanishque also completed a research internship at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, where a numerical study on cavitation in a hydrofoil section was conducted. An early experience as a summer intern at Hindalco Industries Limited took place in 2019. Kanishque holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, obtained in 2021.
