Kirsty Ireland

Kirsty Ireland is a seasoned professional in public affairs and government relations, currently serving as Vice Chair on the Boards of both the EU Travel Tech Association and the US Travel Tech Association since 2023. As Director and Head of Global Public Affairs at Skyscanner since June 2014, Kirsty leads the company's global strategy in government relations across the EU, UK, US, and Asia-Pacific, addressing critical policy and regulatory matters. Previous roles include Senior Manager and Manager in Policy & Public Affairs at Skyscanner, focusing on engagement with policymakers and strategic positioning on aviation and online platform issues. Kirsty's early career involved public affairs work at Pagoda and corporate affairs at NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. Kirsty holds a Postgraduate Master’s Degree in Political Communication from the University of Glasgow and a degree in International Relations & Politics from the University of Edinburgh.
