John Lee Wamble

John Lee Wamble has a strong background in engineering with over 25 years of experience. John Lee co-founded skyTran in 2016 and currently holds the role of Co-Founder and Magnetics Engineering Fellow. Prior to that, they worked at WINDprove as a Senior Engineer from 2013 to 2016. From 2012 to 2016, John was an Electrical Engineer at Pacificos Energy, Inc. John Lee also worked as a Principal Electrical Engineer at Aerogen Power from 2009 to 2016. Before that, they were the VP of Engineering at Advanced Maglev Systems, LLC from 2003 to 2010. John started their career as an Electrical Engineer at Electroimpact in 1995 and also worked as a Product Development Engineer at Virtual i-O from 1994 to 1995 and as a Product Development and Test Engineer at McCauley Sound, Inc. from 1993 to 1994.

John Lee Wamble obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Analog and Hardware, from the University of Washington. John Lee attended the university from 1990 to 1993. Prior to that, they pursued Mechanical Engineering and Construction Management at Washington State University from 1983 to 1987, although they did not specify whether they completed a degree in that field.
