Senior Studio Capacity Manager at Skywalker Sound

Carrie Perry is currently the Studio Capacity Manager at Skywalker Sound, a position they have held since May 2015. In this role, they oversee the management of all Technical Building rooms, including 6 mix stages, 60+ editorial rooms, 3 Foley Stages, and the Stag Theater. Carrie also assists in staffing Supervisors, Sound Designers, Foley artists, Editors, and Re-recording Mixers on various projects from feature-length films to episodic series, commercials, and video games. Additionally, Perry is responsible for managing Skywalker Sound's role in the yearly Sundance Music and Sound Design Labs.

Prior to their current role, Perry served as Marketing Associate at Skywalker Sound from July 2012 to April 2015. In this role, they were responsible for designing, developing, populating, and launching the new Skywalker Sound website - the first upgrade in 10+ years. Carrie also generated weekly status reports that portrayed current, future, and bidding projects, as well as marketing reports that included project leads and strategies for obtaining new business. Additionally, Perry played an integral role in fostering relationships with the Sundance Film Festival by vetting potential projects - resulting in 75+ Skywalker Sound project festival premieres. Carrie also managed all aspects of Skywalker Sound's presence at Sundance, including the industry party. Finally, Perry was responsible for initiating Skywalker Sound's presence across all Social Media platforms and managed all content on Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and skysound.com.

Carrie Perry holds a Bachelor's degree in Business/Corporate Communications from The University of Texas at Austin.
