Patrick Rotsaert

Patrick Rotsaert has over 20 years of experience in the aviation industry with various roles in airlines, civil aviation authorities, and consultancy firms. Patrick has held executive positions such as COO, accountable manager, and executive general manager responsible for flight operations, ground operations, and maintenance functions. Rotsaert has extensive experience in fleet induction, rebranding, and rebuilding operations. Patrick has trained local managers, developed and implemented QA-OPS, flight safety programs, and inspection procedures. Their work includes implementing sound cost-cutting programs, ICAO compliance programs, aerodrome inspection, and AOC application procedures.

Patrick Rotsaert has a diverse education history spanning several fields of study. Patrick obtained a degree in Electromechanical Engineering from ECAM in Brussels. Additionally, they received various licenses and ratings from different aviation schools, such as the European Airline Transport Pilot (ATPL) from the Belgian Air Academy and Airline Transport Pilot (ATPL) and Flight Dispatch licenses from the International Aviation Academy in the USA. Patrick gained qualifications in Quality Management & Auditing from NIGEL BAUER & ASSOCIATES and Managing the Safety Oversight Programme (Civil Aviation Authorities) from IATA. Moreover, they received class ratings and type ratings for different aircraft models such as A320, A330, B737-200, B737NGs, B757, B767, DC3, DC9, MD83/88, and several types of Cessna, Piper, Mooney, and Beechcraft aircraft. Patrick gained additional qualifications in instructor training from the European Aerospace Training Center and Medical Evacuation Flying (MEDEVAC) from European Air Transport. Lastly, they gained knowledge in remote rescue and sanitary evacuation from Siforzal.
