Laura W. Firoozi

Laura W. Firoozi, AIC, currently serves as the Claims Technical Director for Captives and Programs at Skyward Specialty Insurance since June 2023. Prior to this role, Laura held the position of Unit Manager at North American Risk Services from January 2018 to May 2023, focusing on Commercial Auto, General Liability, and Litigation. Laura’s career also includes significant experience at Nationwide, where responsibilities as a Commercial Casualty Specialist II were handled from 2007 to 2017, following an earlier role as a Medical Claims Specialist II. Additionally, Laura worked at Progressive Insurance as a Medical Claims Adjuster and began the professional journey at Fortune Insurance Company as a Supervisor. Academic credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Modern Foreign Languages from Converse University and an exchange program at Centre d'Études Françaises in Avignon, France.
