Tom Schmitt

Tom Schmitt recently joined Skyward Specialty in September of 2020 as the Company’s Chief People and Administrative Officer. Tom has held a variety of human resources and administrative management roles in the insurance, technology, and banking industries throughout his 30+ year career, including at OneBeacon and Progressive Insurance.

At these companies Tom was instrumental in building high-performing HR functions and assisting the transformation of the companies in times of growth and expansion, so we know he will be a great asset to Skyward Specialty as the Company moves into its next phase of growth. When he is not working, Tom enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and exercising, and he is an avid fan of history and historical fiction.
