Mark Cole

Mark Cole is an experienced aviation and marine professional with a diverse background in both flying and water sports. Currently serving as a Captain and First Officer for SkyWest Airlines since January 2022, Mark also works as an Ocean Lifeguard for the Los Angeles County Fire Department. In addition, Mark operates as a Jet Ski Guide with Jetski 2 Catalina and holds the position of Certified Flight Instructor at Sling Pilot Academy, specializing in multiple flight training certifications. Previous experience includes roles as Media & Events Manager at HippyTree, where Mark coordinated marketing initiatives, and as a Customer Service Representative at Rip Curl, showcasing strong technical skills. Mark's early career involved marketing and event planning at Spyder Surf and FUEL TV, complemented by an internship with Orange County Coastkeeper focusing on environmental education and pollution testing. Mark holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Ecology from UC Irvine and a high school diploma from Loyola High School of Los Angeles.
