Manuel Pulido

Manuel Pulido, PhD, is a Principal RF Device Modeling Engineer at Skyworks Solutions, Inc. since January 2022. Prior to this role, Manuel served as a Staff Engineer in RF Device Modeling at pSemi, a Murata Company, where responsibilities included the development of transistor models for power amplifier design and the characterization of power amplifiers. Earlier, as a Senior Engineer at pSemi, Manuel focused on large-signal FET modeling and model extraction for various EDA platforms. Manuel's career began at the Centro de Investigación Científica y de Educación Superior de Ensenada, where as a researcher and PhD student, contributions included developing novel methods for the nonlinear characterization of microwave devices and nonlinear modeling of GaN-HEMT transistors. Educational qualifications include a PhD and a Master’s Degree in High Frequency Electronics, both obtained from the Centro de Investigación Científica y de Educación Superior de Ensenada, and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications from Universidad Autónoma de Zacatecas.
