Marty Hood

Marty Hood is a Senior Principal Electrical Engineer at Skyworks Solutions, Inc., where employment began in July 2021 following the acquisition of the I&A division of Silicon Labs. Prior to this role, Marty served as a Senior Staff Design Engineer at Silicon Laboratories from April 2012 to July 2021 and held various engineering positions at Intersil, Zilker Labs, Layer N Networks, Britestream Networks, SMSC, Cirrus Logic, and Systems & Processes Engineering Corporation. With a career spanning over two decades in the semiconductor industry, Marty Hood has extensive experience in design engineering and management, beginning with education at Rice University from 1975 to 1983.
