Omid Najari

Omid Najari is a seasoned RFIC design engineer with extensive experience in RF/mmWave IC design across multiple applications, including cellular 5G, WiFi-7, and UWB technologies. Currently serving as a Principal RFIC Design Engineer at Skyworks Solutions, Inc. since August 2024, Omid previously held the same title at QuantalRF from August 2020 to August 2024, focusing on cutting-edge wireless communications. Prior roles include Senior RFIC Design Engineer at Ericsson, where contributions were made to mmWave IC design for 5G base stations, and RF/Analog IC Design Engineer at NXP Semiconductors. Omid began a professional journey with a master’s thesis at ST-Ericsson, which explored innovative methods for canceling non-linearities in RF amplifiers. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. and an Industrial Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, coupled with a master’s degree from Linköping University.
