Arun Lal

Arun Lal is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in data and analytics, currently serving as Director of Data & Analytics at Slalom since March 2019. Arun focuses on scaling and modernizing data strategies and architectures, managing cloud migrations, and leading data engineering initiatives across various industries. Prior to this role, Arun was Sr Manager of Enterprise Analytics at Seagate Technology, where responsibilities included designing a multi-Petabyte Hadoop data lake and shaping technical architecture for data science projects. At Oracle, Arun managed a team as Data Warehouse Software Development Manager, ensuring alignment with Business Intelligence goals through the delivery of high-performance ETL code. Earlier experiences include consulting roles at IBM and Target, complemented by an MS in Information Systems from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology.
