Kamran Khan

Co-Founder & CTO at Slang

Kamran Khan is the Co-Founder & CTO at Slang. Kamran has also worked at Columbia University and Panjiva.

Khan began their career at Columbia University as a Project Manager and Web Developer. There, they designed and implemented a grading and attendance application that is still in use today. Kamran also helped develop a video-sharing platform for the university.

In February 2011, Khan joined Panjiva as a Software Engineer. Kamran eventually transitioned to a role focused on front-end engineering, where they were responsible for optimizing key steps in the user flow of the application. Some of their projects involved data visualization engineering.

In their current role at Slang, Khan is responsible for the company's technology strategy and roadmap. Kamran oversees all engineering efforts and leads a team of engineers who are responsible for building and maintaining Slang's products.

Kamran Khan has a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Computer Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, as well as a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science and Engineering from the same school.
