Hansjoerg Haas

Hansjoerg Haas has a strong background in laboratory automation and screening, with extensive experience at Thermo Fisher Scientific. Hansjoerg held various roles at the company, including Senior Director and General Manager, Laboratory Automation, Product Line Director and Site Leader, Laboratory Automation, and Director Marketing, Laboratory Automation. Prior to their time at Thermo Fisher Scientific, Hansjoerg served as the VP Marketing and Strategic Development, and Director of ADME/Tox. Outside of Thermo Fisher Scientific, they also held positions at CRS Robotics Corporation as Managing Director and Business Development Manager, and at Zymark GmbH as Key Account Manager. Currently, Hansjoerg is involved with SLAS (Society for Laboratory Automation and Screening) as the President and Board Member.

Hansjoerg Haas completed a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Biochemistry from Justus Liebig University Giessen in the years 1990-1993. Hansjoerg also earned a Diplom degree from the same university between 1984-1989.
