Birte Haakansson

Birte Haakansson has extensive experience in recruitment and human resources, currently serving as a Senior Recruitment Consultant at SlaterConsult since September 2023. Birte is also a Co-Owner/Co-Founder of Canine Genius, Inc., which specializes in innovative dog toys and pet products, a venture established in 2002. Previously, Birte held the position of Senior Recruitment Partner at Vestas, managing comprehensive recruitment processes and advising hiring managers. Additional experience includes roles as a Consulting Recruiter and HR Partner, focusing on end-to-end recruitment and talent management, and earlier positions in human resources at HNC Software, Inc. and Nicholas Applegate Capital Management, where Birte contributed to building high-performance HR teams and established recruitment functions.
