Joey Dizenhouse has extensive experience in the insurance and healthcare industry. Joey is currently the President and CEO of SlateRx, a position they have held since 2024. Prior to this, they worked at HealthTrust Purchasing Group as the Senior Vice President and Head of Pharmacy Services. In this role, they were responsible for optimizing the pharmaceutical purchases of over 1,600 hospitals and 33,000 healthcare provider groups. Joey also served as the Senior Vice President of Business Development at HealthTrust, where they focused on portfolio growth and strategic opportunities. Earlier in their career, they worked at Towers Watson as the Director of Client Development and Director of Health and Group Benefits. Before that, they were a Principal at the company. Joey's experience also includes working as an Actuary at Swiss Re.
Joey Dizenhouse, FSA, MAAA holds a Bachelor of Mathematics degree from the University of Waterloo. Their field of study during their education included Actuarial Science, Statistics, and Economics. Joey Dizenhouse is also a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, although the exact date of the certification is unknown.
