Imran Brown

Imran Brown has been working in the tech industry since 2013. Imran began their career as a Software Engineer at Netsmart Technologies. In 2014, they moved to Appway and took on the role of Senior Software Engineer. In 2016, they joined Lifion, by ADP as a Software Engineer. Two years later, they were hired as a Senior Front End Software Engineer at Squarespace. In 2020, they became a Software Engineer at Amazon. Most recently, in 2021, they founded and became CTO of Slatewell.

Imran Brown holds a Bachelor's degree and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Assurance, and Computer Science from Stony Brook University. Imran also has additional certifications, including Javascript Landia Member from the OpenJS Foundation obtained in May 2021, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon obtained in October 2020, Professional Cloud Architect from Google obtained in October 2020, and Heartsaver CPR AED from the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association obtained in May 2013.
