Avinash Lokhande

Avinash Lokhande is a experienced Data Scientist at Schlumberger since July 2021, previously serving as Lead Engineer in Computer Vision and Deep Learning at AIRA MATRIX from July 2017 to July 2021, where responsibilities included leading a team, conducting proof of concept projects on Autoencoders and GAN for anomaly detection, and mentoring new team members. Prior to that, Avinash worked as an Imaging Scientist, gaining expertise in Python, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning, and contributing to whole slide image analysis. Avinash also served as a Teaching Assistant at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay from July 2015 to July 2017, conducting lab sessions in satellite image processing and geographic information systems. Education includes a Master of Technology in Geo-Informatics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology.
