David Gooch

David Gooch serves as Legal Director (Deputy General Counsel) for Transactions & Oversight at SLB and has held various roles within the company, including General Counsel for the Production Systems Division and General Counsel for Operations. With 23 years of service, David Gooch holds the title of Lieutenant Colonel in the Army National Guard, specifically with the 256th Infantry Brigade Combat Team. David Gooch has also served as Senior Legal Counsel - Corporate & Director of Compliance, as well as Senior Regional Counsel and Legal Counsel for North America at M-I SWACO. Early in their legal career, David Gooch practiced as an attorney at Dill Firm APLC, Jeansonne & Remondet, and Hailey McNamara, LLP. David Gooch earned a Master of Laws (LLM) in Business Transactions from The University of Alabama School of Law and has completed education at Louisiana State University.
